Catalytic Coaching is the performance management model that encompasses the culture for performance management, employee engagement and professional/personal development. CATALYTIC COACHING ELEMENTS (YELLOW, BLUE AND GREEN SHEETS) • Accomplishments - accomplishments achieved during the first 90 days of employment and every year, subsequently. • Challenges - challenges that have occurred during this period during the first 90 days of employment and every year, subsequently. • Personal Growth - New Skills/Competencies Acquired; Important Experiences Gained; Relationships Built That Aid Productive Capability – and/or other areas that pertain to your personal growth. • Career Aspirations – Professional Development opportunities internal and/or external. Including but not limited to taking on a new role within the department or elsewhere; increased responsibilities; enrolling in classes, workshops or other training; or attaining licenses/certifications/degrees. • Mentorship – employees may report uncertainty in some areas when completing their yellow sheet. This is a great opportunity to introduce mentorship opportunities. Mentorship helps employees develop needed skills and confidence, encourages career advancement, promotes ongoing learning and relationship building and provides multidisciplinary collaboration, engagement and more. One goal may be to identify a mentor that staff can utilize while trying to enhance their skill set or explore future goals. • Review of Initial Goals - goals given during the last Catalytic Coaching Cycle and the progress in achieving them. • Goals for the Upcoming Year- S.M.A.R.T Goals format and include at least 3 goals for the upcoming year. o S pecific: What, why, and how? o M easurable: How will you measure? o A ttainable: Is it possible in your current circumstances?
