INTRODUCTION TO EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP CODAC’s Executive Leadership consists of select medical and administrative leadership whose positions are critical in focusing on big picture strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. Executive Leadership has the expanded authority and responsibility that spans across the entire organization.
Dennis Regnier, MA is President and Chief Executive Officer of CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness. He joined CODAC in October of 2011, hailing from outside Chicago, Illinois where he was President and CEO of Grand Prairie Services, a nonprofit behavioral health organization serving the Chicago and South Suburbs. He was there since 1994. Mr. Regnier’ s 48-year career in behavioral health services began with the Illinois Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities in 1974 where he held both clinical and administrative positions. He also has extensive experience in the for-profit health care industry, including senior leadership positions at Forest Health Systems, Century Health Care, Hartgrove Hospital and HCA Chicago Lakeshore Hospital. He has a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from Governors State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Illinois State University. In addition to being the Medical Director at CODAC, Steve Bupp, MD has his own private practice and is Staff Psychiatrist at Arizona Biodyne and Chief Executive Officer of Southwest Biomedical Research Foundation and holds many other professional affiliations. He earned his MD from the University of Kansas and his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University. Dr. Bupp is responsible for the medical care of all CODAC members and oversight of delivery of all services. Dr. Bupp has been employed with CODAC since 1995. Dr. Sabreen Boone, DO is a family medicine provider with over 11 years of experience practicing medicine. She has also held progressively responsible leadership roles during her career, including owning and operating a concierge medical practice in Tucson for the past five years. Dr. Boone received her Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. She also completed a Family Medicine Residency and Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona Department of Family and Community Medicine. She also received her Masters of Medical Management from the University of Arizona Eller School of Business. She is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. As Associate Medical Director at CODAC, Dr. Boone is responsible for providing high quality care; establishing policies and procedures and recommending changes to improve patient experience and outcomes; supervising and evaluating the work of medical personnel; and working collaboratively to further develop CODAC’s integrated care model and services, among other critical functions.
