Rafael is the Chief Information Officer and has more than 16 years heading all things IT related for CODAC. He is responsible for keeping the organization current with respect to computing, communications, and cyber security. In his time at CODAC he has implemented two different Electronic Health Records (EHR), upgraded all the networking to the latest offerings for the main sites, and outfitted all sites and employees with the state-of-the-art in technology and equipment. Prior to joining CODAC, he worked in software development with the Fortune 500 company Electronic Data Systems, providing systems to customers such as GM, Volkswagen, Phillips Petroleum, IBM as well as others. Rafael is currently a member of the Data Council for Health Current, the Arizona based Health Information Exchange (HIE) providing direction in the organization’s development of its data offerings to all healthcare providers in Arizona and beyond. On weekends, you may see Rafael on the golf course or at a University of Arizona football game. Eric is the Chief Financial Officer and has more than 14 years’ experience in the health care industry. Eric has a proven record of improving processes and business decisions through actionable data and analysis. Eric received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Master of Business Administration in International Management, Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Eric is responsible for all aspects of financial operations for CODAC. Reporting directly to the chief executive officer, the CFO provides accounting, budgetary, operational and programmatic support to all agency programs and activities. The CFO directly oversees and supervises the financial/accounting staff, billing and contracts and other areas as directed by the CEO. Additionally, the CFO serves as an active member of the Executive Leadership team to develop and implement the agency’s vision and mission.
